Bernadette Lawrence, RN, is a dedicated healthcare professional, educator, and community leader. As a 20-year District 205 Board Member, she championed financial stability, alternative education, and student success. A former nurse, teacher, and youth mentor, she continues to serve through advocacy, scholarships, and community health initiatives.

Ray C. Banks Re-Elect
Ray Banks is a dedicated leader in community restoration and 5 education. As Executive Director of, Restoration Ministries, he has. helped over 1,000 individuals rebuild their lives. A longtime youth mentor and District 205 School Board member, he champions student voices and positive change I in his community.

Sonja Bradley Elect
Sonja K. Bradley is a passionate leader and proud alumna of District 205, dedicated to equity, student success, and community empowerment. As a former Student Board President, she championed meaningful change, from mentoring youth to improving student nutrition. Her advocacy for restorative justice and education policy, combined with her leadership and research expertise, makes her a strong voice for the future of District 205.

Almetta L. Vasser-Moody Re-Elect
Almetta Vasser-Moody is a dedicated public servant with nearly 40 years of experience advocating for education and community development. As a District 205 Board Member, she has worked to strengthen academic programs, fiscal responsibility, and student opportunities. With a proven record of leadership in the Dolton Park District and other local organizations, Almetta remains committed to ensuring quality education and a stronger community for all.

Tyhani Hill is a proud 38-year resident of Calumet City with deep roots in the community. As a first-generation college graduate, she earned her associate degree from South Suburban College before obtaining her B.S. and M.S. from Roosevelt University.
With over 20 years of experience in accounting, Tyhani has a proven track record of fiscal responsibility and financial leadership. As former Treasurer and Controller at South Suburban College, she possesses unparalleled expertise in the College’s finances. Currently, she serves as Chief Financial Officer for a county government agency, managing the finances of Illinois’ largest county judicial system.
Beyond her professional achievements, Tyhani is passionate about mentorship and community service. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Nellie Prather Foundation, helping to provide mentorship and technical assistance to young women in the South Suburbs.
As a homegrown leader, former student, and former administrator, Tyhani Hill is uniquely qualified to bring her expertise back to South Suburban College as a Trustee. She is committed to fiscal transparency, student success, and strengthening community partnerships.

Prince Reed is a dedicated leader with a passion for education, community development, and fiscal responsibility.
A BOMA Certified Master Facility Executive, he has managed multimillion-dollar budgets and led teams at Fortune 100 companies like Goldman Sachs and Kodak. Currently, as Vice President of Facilities Services at DaVita Kidney Care, he oversees 2,800+ clinics nationwide.
With 25+ years of youth advocacy, Prince has served on the South Suburban College Trustee Board, is a three-term Village of South Holland Trustee, and sits on the South Suburban College Foundation Board.
A lifelong learner, he holds a Bachelor’s in Leadership, an Executive MBA, and a Master of Divinity.
As College Trustee, Prince will champion affordable tuition, student success programs, and strong community partnerships to create more opportunities for students.
